Programs

Each week, we offer relevant Bible studies during Sunday School and Children’s Worship as well as many other fun and educational events and programs for kids and their families. 

Lil’ Kingdom Kids Nursery is available during all Sunday morning Services for children ages birth to 4 years old.  Please sign your child in at the counter in the Children’s wing. (Room 203)

·         We have silent pagers for parents.  If you are needed during the worship service, we can page you.

·         The childcare staff and all volunteers have current background checks and follow all safe sanctuary policies set by Grace UMC.

Kingdom Kids Sunday School is offered at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings for children ages 2½ years old to 4^th Grade.

·         Preschool Class – 2½ yrs - 4yrs (room 205)

·         Pre-K/Kindergarten Class (room 202)

·         1^st Grade/ 2^nd Grade Class (room 204)

·         3^rd Grade/ 4^th Grade Class (room 208)

Kingdom Kids Worship is available on Sunday morning at the 11:00 service for children ages Kindergarten – 2^nd Grade.  The children will enjoy the Children’s Sermon Time in the Worship Service and return to room 206 to experience a Bible story, sing, play games and share in their joys and concerns through prayer.

Sunday Night Kingdom Kids is offered on Sunday nights from 5:00 – 6:30 pm for children ages 3 years old – 4^th grade.  This is a rotation format of different station activities including, music, games, projects with a purpose and surprise station.

Kids with a Mission is a monthly project for the children to actively become the Hands and Feet of Jesus through mission work.

Acolytes are children, 2^nd Grade or older, who are trained to assist in worship each Sunday by lighting the alter candles, helping with Holy Communion and assisting in other religious ceremonies.  Training is offered twice a year or on and individual basis by appointment.

Bible Presentation is an annual event in June to recognize the spiritual journey taken as children grow in their faith.  Children entering the 3^rd Grade are eligible to receive a Bible during this ceremony.

Parent’s Night Out is generally offered the 1^st Friday of every month from 6:00 – 10:00 pm.  Cost is $15 for one child, $25 for two children or $35 for three children.  You must register in advance at the counter in the Children’s Wing.

Family Night is offered once per quarter.  The events vary but encourage family interaction.  Check the calendar for more information.

Vacation Bible School is our biggest event of the year.  We go all out each July to have a fun and faith-filled time of worship, games, crafts, drama, snacks and story time.  Many wonderful volunteers come together to make VBS a wonderful experience for all involved.

 Children’s Choir  is offered seasonally on Sunday afternoons at 3:30pm for children ages Pre-K/ Kindergarten and 4:00pm for children ages 1^st Grade – 4^th Grade.  The Children’s Choir goal is to participate in worship services and special performances throughout the year.
