McGee's Closet
Do you have closets cluttered with gently used medical supplies, temporary household supplies and storage materials you are not using, and would gladly loan out to someone in need?
We have just the remedy for you! Add them to the Medical Closet; a virtual closet with a listing of the item(s) and the owner of such item(s) and how a person in need could get in touch with the owner. Some suggested items are: medical aids for home recovery including, but not limited to walkers, prosthetic canes, shower chairs, knee exercisers and any other medical supply you had to purchase, but are now not using. Surgeries, disasters and other such difficulties might require a purchase of these items which are only used temporarily, and now are sitting unused in a closet or garage.
The Medical Closet is not limited to medical supplies only; we just haven’t come up with a better name. You can include household items that you are not using, electrical generators, hoses, ice machines, two wheel trailers, furniture, kitchenware…basically anything that is taking up space, but you don’t want to part with forever. Its items you’d be willing to loan to someone in need for a short period of time.
