Men

Grace Basketball

Tuesdays from 6:30 - 9:00 pm in the Grace Church Gym, you are invited to join the men of Grace UMC for a weekly Men’s Devotional and Prayer time and then enjoy Christian Fellowship & Basketball. This is a great chance to meet other men in the church and get a little exercise. Hope to see you there!

For more details, see Corey Boyett or David Sutton.

Men’s Prayer Fellowship

Want to get your week off to a flying start?  Join the Men’s Prayer Fellowship that meets at 6:00 am every Monday morning in the Worship Center here at Grace.  We share a Scripture and short devotional, exchange prayer requests and spend a time before God in prayer. It’s the pause before the storm of a busy week that renews and refreshes.  Come join us.

United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month, September through May, at 8:00am in the Fellowship Hall.  The men of Grace gather to enjoy fellowship and a devotion AND...a hot, scratch-made breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, sausage, gravy, french toast, coffee, juice, jelly, etc.).  The cost is only $4.00

UMM also organizes yearly fundraisers to award scholarships to High School graduates that meet certain requirements, to support families in need and to help people around the church who need a hand around the house with light chores.

The Grace United Methodist Men seek:

  • To encourage knowledge and support for the total mission of the United Methodist Church.
  • To engage in evangelism by sharing the fullness of the gospel in it’s personal and social dimensions.
  • To clarify and speak to the identity and role of the man in contemporary society.
  • To seek commitment to discipleship.
  • To study and become familiar with The United Methodist Church; its organization, doctrines, and beliefs.
  • To cooperate with all units of the United Methodist Men in obtaining these objectives through district, conference, jurisdiction, and church-wide goals.
  • To encourage and support the youth of the church in their spiritual growth.
  • Men seeking membership in The United Methodist Fellowship shall subscribe to the Purposes of the United Methodist Men and to these objectives: 1) Encourage daily Bible study and prayer, 2) Bear witness to Christ’s way in daily work and in all personal contacts through words and actions, and 3) Engage in some definitive Christian service.
